In spite of exam week, Mother's Day weekend, and a host of other events happening at the same time, eighteen BCF students were able to participate in Graceville's Relay for Life event: (Pictured - Revani Rosalia, Natalie Hartman, Bradley Harris, John Stickles, Justin Grack (team captain), Caleb McGee, Christopher Rivers, Juan Gallegos, Bethany Grebeta, Peyton Kirk, Callie Cumberland, Jesse Davidson, and Shelby Bengston. Students from The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville excitedly participated in this years' Relay for Life event held on May 6. According to students, it was an extremely gratifying experience joining people from all over Graceville to raise money and awareness for cancer victims and cancer research initiatives.

The first lap of the evening was led by surviving cancer patients, whose inspiration and drive was felt by all of those in attendance. BCF students quickly joined in the festivities as they walked, ran, and even raced around the track in honor and support of cancer victims. The students also manned a booth and sold cookies, cakes, and brownies which were provided by BCF student Becky Castle. All of the money raised by the students was donated to the Relay for Life Foundation to assist with its mission of finding a cure for cancer.
